I wanted to pass along updates on our greens aerification on Monday. This past Wednesday we received a little over 1 inch of rain. Forecasters are calling for a considerable precipitation event over the weekend. If we receive what is being forecasted, we will be delaying our aerification until Tuesday or Wednesday. If the greens are too wet and we aerate, we will not be able to pull a core out of the green and the aerification will have little effect. Being we only complete this process twice per year, we need to make sure it is done well.
